Hello and Welcome to my website.  My name is Larry. I am a Founding Partner in the John Maxwell Leadership Certification Program. What means I am trained by John Maxwell and Licensed to teach his material.  I have more than 20 years experience in the Automotive Industry.  I have a passion to help people overcome road blocks, reach their potential and help people realize their dreams.

Passion, Vision, Focus

Maddog Leadership (MDL) started in 2006 when I was talking to high school students about career day.  I thought about only 2 or 3 students out 30 in a class were really interested in what engineers actually do all day.  So I created a presentation called Attitudes of a Maddog.  The basic idea was that we are all created differently we all have different strengths and weaknesses.

I needed a way for students to easily remember what they needed to do to find a career.  Passion, Vision and Focus were the 3 words that came to mind.

Passion:  We all have several that top the list but what really gets your blood pumping, something you will do all night even if you have to get up at 5am the next day.

Vision:  Once you have that passion identified.  No you need to sketch out a plan, how do you see yourself making money with your passion.  How can you live out your passion and get paid for it? This is not as hard as it seems.

Focus:  These are the details.  What are you next steps, do you need special training? A four year degree?  Vocational school?  Do you need to raise capital for your dream to come true?  Make a plan, review it and stick to it, this is the only way your passion will come to life.
